Seth Webster is a technology executive, software architect, and community leader best known for his work advancing the modern React ecosystem and helping shape the future of cross-platform application development. He currently serves as Executive Director of the React Foundation and Chief Developer Evangelist at Expo, where he focuses on the intersection of AI, developer tooling, and the future of native software experiences.
Over the course of more than two decades in engineering leadership, Seth has built a reputation as a deeply technical leader with a people-first philosophy. He previously led React at Meta, helping steward one of the most widely used UI technologies in the world. His work has centered on enabling developers to move faster, build better products, and bring ambitious ideas to life at global scale.
