Building a Super App sounds exciting until you have to make the first architectural decision.

Unlike traditional mobile apps, Super Apps introduce a completely different set of engineering challenges. How do you organize dozens of features? Where do you draw module boundaries? What should be shared, and what should remain independent? How do you prepare for multiple teams working in the same codebase without slowing each other down?

In this talk, I’ll share our experience designing our first React Native Super App. I’ll walk through the architectural decisions we’re making, the trade-offs we’ve faced, and how we’re approaching modularization, navigation, shared UI, dependency management, feature flags, and release strategy. Rather than presenting a finished success story, this is an honest look at the engineering decisions that shape a large React Native application from day one.
