A more and more common story: you're asked to add AI to a product. Not a chatbot. Not an AI platform. Just one small feature that needed to be smarter.

In this talk, I'll share practical lessons from shipping a small LLM feature in production, including in React Native: how to keep the architecture simple, how to set guardrails, how to communicate your values ethically, and how to decide when AI is actually the right tool.

This isn't the first time a big technology hype has caught up with us and might creep us out at first, and this talk will look at that history, too.
