AI in CI/CD: What's Actually Useful vs. Hype for Mobile Teams
Every CI/CD vendor claims to be "AI-powered" now. But what does that mean for a mobile team shipping real apps — and where's it still marketing over substance?
This talk uses real, aggregate data from millions of mobile CI builds to answer that honestly: how much AI-authored code is flowing through pipelines today, how fast that's growing, and whether AI-authored changes are actually harder to debug when they break (spoiler: it's a wash).
The centerpiece: a live demo building a small Android feature from scratch using Claude in a remote dev environment — no editing tricks, just what the workflow actually looks like today.
You'll leave with a framework for evaluating any "AI-powered" CI claim, and a realistic sense of where to invest your team's attention now vs. later.
