An Overview of AAOS SDV
This session will give an introduction to AAOS SDV, the key features and Design concepts. We will talk about:
- How SDV extends Android to a distributed system: We explore how multiple guest VMs or physical SoCs coordinate and how SDV and IVI systems can communicate.
- How virtualization enables easy deployment: We discuss how VirtIO hardware abstraction decouples software from physical hardware, enabling Cloud Parity through Cuttlefish to run multi-VM testing in the cloud without physical boards.
- How Display Safety and SDV Media enable cluster systems: We explain how the DriverUI and a lightweight High Availability Renderer composite outputs on the screen, and how SDV Media enables low-latency graphics and camera feeds.
