I am an Android developer who has been in the field since before Android Studio existed, with a deep understanding of both technical development and leadership. Over the years, I’ve led teams of software engineers, managed cross-feature and cross-platform teams, and successfully navigated communication across various technical and business roles. I have also spoken at local meet-ups, sharing insights on a variety of technical topics (though not specifically on this one).

Scale your team's responsibilities from a single feature in the app to a public SDK

Yesterday, your code lived on a single screen, hidden behind the UI. Only you and your team knew how it worked.

Today, you're building libraries used by developers around the world. They read your code, integrate it, report bugs, love its simplicity - or hate it when it breaks their edge cases. It's more stressful, but also far more rewarding.

So what happened overnight?

In this talk, I'll share practical lessons on designing (not)stable APIs, planning implementations, managing versioning and backward compatibility, and reducing integration friction.
We'll also explore the human side of adoption: earning trust, building effective feedback loops, and avoiding the mistakes that turn promising libraries into abandoned or forked projects.
